Glass and bamboo. Favourite rod at present is a Fred Paddock 7ft 9 - 4 weight. So nice!

After just over 40-year, I still miss your part of the world, but I don't miss vegemite.
Yes, Vegemite certainly has become famous all over the world with most thinking how the bloody hell do the Aussies eat that stuff. Secret is just a dab on your favourite toast in the morning with a cup of tea! Good way to start the day and will help with your casting accuracy :)

I fish bamboo 95% year round. Most of my trout fishing is in lakes, few streams and some salt. Our area has so many lakes, I just enjoy floating around relaxing sipping a cold one! I’ve only been fly fishing/tying for 56+ years now.....man I’m getting old! So what’s your favorite bamboo? Mine are blue collar bamboo rods I redo and call them Hotrodz of Burien! Old Hardy’s and bamboo just go together......
