FOR SALE:

(1) Original Color Press Proof of Steelhead Fly Patterns from the book "Pacific Northwest Fly Patterns" by Roy A. Patrick

(1) Original matching Steelhead Fly Pattern Index Sheet.

I purchased the color press proofs for both the Steelhead and Cutthroat plates and the original manual type written index for the fly patterns from a relative of Roy Patrick sometime around 1995. I misplaced or sold? the Cutthroat proof, so only the Steelhead color press proof is available. This deserves to be professionally framed and displayed. Since I down-sized, this classic has just been sitting in storage. The proof is in a cheap photo frame right now. (8 x 10) included.

You can own a piece of history, over 50 years old, for a roughly a dollar per year. $50 OBO. plus $6.50 shipping to lower 48 only. Cash for local pickup Browns Point - Federal Way area, or PayPal.

The book "Pacific Northwest Fly Patterns" by Roy A. Patrick is one of the "Classic" Flyfishing books to have in your collection. Around 1970 Patrick's Fly Shop released a limited edition of only 21 copies that contained two color plates, one steelhead and the other cutthroat.

A few years ago I located one for sale at www.abebooks.com. Here is the description:

Pacific Northwest Fly Patterns. {Limited Edition}

Hundreds of fly patterns are listed. The book is bound in full burgundy cloth with gilt titles on the spine and front cover. Quite scarce.
