Home-made Fruit Flavored Liquer

I made my second batch of fruit-flavored Vodka this weekend. Wondering if anyone else has tried this, and can share recipes and drink recipes to use for the Holidays.

After the pie cherry season I made cherry vodka. Super easy.

Now, the cranberries are ripe and I have been picking at a local bog. This afternoon I made a Vodka Cranberry recipe. Following the basic idea in the below website.

I don't drink much hard alcohol, but these flavored vodka might change that.

I made some cherry liqueur this year as well, and several gallons of hard apple cider, about 17%.

We also have peaches, nectarines, pears, plums, and Concord grapes that we pressed but just went for grape juice.

Life in the orchard is good.

Jeff, I did something like this years ago. I crushed a bunch of peppercorns and let them soak in vodka. Made for some really peppery bloody marys. I got this off of one of Alton Brown's Good Eats.
