In case anyone is interested:

King County, the King County Flood Control District and the Cedar River Council co-host the sixth-annual "I Love the Cedar River" community meeting and open house, Nov. 16, when interested residents can learn about flood protection, restoration and river management.

Set for 6-8:30 p.m. at the Lake Wilderness Lodge, 22500 S.E. 248th St., Maple Valley, this annual meeting provides a state-of-the-river update for the community that covers the latest projects, a question-and-answer session, and opportunities for residents to talk to a variety of people who are involved in managing the Cedar River.
