If money were no object....

Where would you fish for a week?? Lodging included....

Given my newly acquired thing for bonefish I would say the Seychelles although sea-run browns in Patagonia have a certain charm that would be hard to pass up.... any thoughts??

Definitely some good ones already called out. For me, I could see spending a couple months in New Zealand chasing big browns.

Tropical salt somewhere. Junk fish in the tropical salt kick steelhead butt day in day out.

I'm with Ira - and I'd love to chase Bonefish.
So money is no object but what about time? As you get older time is your daily friend, or not in most cases.

Do what you can when you can and forget the cost! If you can pay your bills and have food on the table and a roof over your head and maybe a significant other to share your space and is into what you are doing then go fish.

Chile, Argentina, New Zealand or the Amazon for Peacock Bass.
I dislike traveling long distances to stay for only one week, but if it's all on someone else's dime, then probably a nice expensive estancia in Patagonia.

Although tropical salt water fish are hotter than steelhead and trout, my preference is river and stream fishing. The allure of hunting permit on tropical flats is tempting though.

Kola penn, Ponoi or wherever I could happen upon a 40# Salmo salar.

Tough choice between the Seychelles and Isla Secas Panama. Unlikely that I could ever afford it but since we're fantasizing I'd lean towards Panama. No guilt leaving the wife in the lap of luxury while I'm out getting my ass kicked by giant yellowfin tuna, huge dogtooth snapper, and many other big mean fish that would have me seeking spa services at the end of the day.

probably CXI....nah, definitely CXI.
CXI is gonna happen in the next 5 years.

Panoi or Kola.
I'll buck the trend...Island Park in a little cabin and eating at the Trouthunter each night.Nowhere prettier than the Rockies, and no where I'd rather be than the good ole US of A.
