The Worley Bugger Fly Company is collecting donations to send overseas so that recovering injured soldiers can tie flies while re cooperating. Soldiers from US, Canada, England, and Australia will benefit from your donations. This program has been ongoing but they have run out of materials. Any items can be of use; materials, tools, hooks, etc. The first shipment is scheduled to leave on March 17th so please drop off or mail your donations to the Worley Bugger Fly Company at 306 South Main #3, Ellensburg, WA 98926.

Will you be in Albany at the expo this weekend? I have a little bit of stuff from an estate I am looking to give away. Nothing great but it's free.

BFIC,

Don't know anything about the Albany show; isn't Albany in New York? :clown: Regardless, pretty sure they won't be going to that particular show.

Devon,

I don't know anything about their website or exactly where the package is going. Your interest is encouraging but the package is leaving from Ellensburg, Washington.

Come on guys, this isn't rocket science. Most fly tying material is very lightweight. Postage for a manila envelope is minor compared to the joy it will bring these soldiers. I will send some duck feathers I shot this past fall and go through my stuff and send what I don't use.

Dropping off my first Cabelas vise and some materials to get started.

When I worked in DC I used to go to Walter Reed and give tying classes. The soldiers really appreciated it and it helped that I was a former Vet. Ended up taking a few out on the Potomac River in my canoe for sm bass. I still keep in touch
Very good cause
