I have never done it my self but have heard that night fly fishing for rock fish especially black sea bass can be productive, or used to be. A lantern, large baitfish patterns, a sinking line and a stout fly rod were the tools of choice. Also if I was to try it I would go with a fellow fisherman for saftey sake.
