Seattle times reported today that the Federal plan for salmon recovery in the Snake river is insufficient. the previous Federal judge (Redden) had been a strong advocate for the fish and for including dam removal as an option. I think many thought that his retirement would mean that the Feds would have their way after they bought off all the tribal groups, except the Nez Perce. It looks like the Federal judge who has taken over is following in his footsteps. That's great news!
