Yes, groups. Similar to groups on facebook. You can set them up to be public or private, joinable on request or on invite, whatever. To get to the group page, look towards the header for the "community" drop down link, then select groups. Perhaps there is one there already you would like to request to join, perhaps you might like to start one. Since I haven't used this feature long there aren't that many groups setup by you guys yet, but the list is starting to grow.

Why? Well, some discussion is best left off the open board. Consider it like a club meeting if you prefer to set it up that way.
