I fished a TP Sand Lance Friday night between the beach debre floated buy the exceptionally high tide. After serveral repeated follows, I landed one nice 12" Sea Run.
This morning I fished the high tide as the last of the storm rolled through. After no luck with a TW Sand Lance, I tied on a P/W clouser. I hooked a huge SRC and fought for several minutes; but lost it. I'm guessing in the 18" range. This was by far the best fighting fish I've hooked all year.
Even though the Coho fishing has been a bust, the Sea Run fishing is really heating up.
