I am heading to the Klickitat on Friday morning to take a guide with The Evening Hatch. I will be returning the same day. My buddy dropped out, so if anybody is interested in splitting the guide let me know.

It will be $250 and may need to drive a little if I get tired.

Just out of curiosity, how'd you do on this trip? I'm heading down there tomorrow for the weekend. I know fish counts are down, but I'm giving it a shot anyways.

The guy I went with caught a good one, maybe 15lbs. I caught nothing... I think they are averaging about 1 per day per boat.

I floated it recently. Water was good but no Steelhead came to the hand. Had one really nice grab. I caught a salmon in the lower river a week ago. Tough year for Steelhead. I saw a guy swing into a 12lb buck in the guide boat above us. That's all the fish I saw.

Yikes, I'll be on foot too. Maybe I'll bring gear and try for kings near the mouth, the numbers above Bonneville don't look quite as depressing. Though I'm hoping the little bit of rain pushed some fresh steelhead in. If anyone wants to fish, shoot me a pm.
