Very good question, Kerry. On most lakes, yes, however at The Office they are only permissible for users with carpal tunnel or a similar permanent disability to the arm, wrist or hand. Note that a gas powered version is prohibited under any circumstance.

I was rowing my cataraft on a lake, dropped my family off at the swimming beach and then went off to cruise the lilly pads. There was a guy trolling behind a radio controlled boat. I'd like to see a lunker grab it and drag it to the depths of the lake.

Kerry, you never use an indicator?
