Fished 2:30-6:30pm. About 20 boats on the water when I arrived and I was the last one off the lake. Warm, flat calm conditions. Fished to the cruisers in shallow for the first 1.5 hours without a take. Move out to 15 feet of water and noticed loads of chirono shucks on the water and a buzzing sound from all the newly emerged midges. Eventually figured out that small bloodworms were on the menu (Thank you for the hint, Captain Larry!). Ended up with 8 fish to the net in the final 1.5 hours and many more missed takes. A lovely evening in the desert.
