I am planning a trip to Lenice the weekend of the 15th. This will be my first attempt at fishing this lake in the fall. We always talk about it but never seem to make it happen. Has anyone been there lately? Can you hunt upland birds in this area as well??

people hunt there quite often. I see pheasant and quail regularly. Just don't like when the duck hunters are actually on the lake.
Got friends arrving there tonight for the weekend. Fishing should be good with olive and tan patterns. try a rlgbgrhe (figure that one out!)

Sounds like one of the many variations of the hare's ear nymph.
I think I might have a similiar bug in my mayfly box. Met a gent on Ell Lk years ago that was Chirono fishing with them, the fish were glad when he left!

Duck hunting opens on the 16th. Quail is open now. Pheasant opens on the 23rd. Rainbows, browns, tigers are all available as we type.
