I don't need a reel Cabelas is having a sale on some hardy reels I want. but I will buy your rod and real combo if it's a good deal

Let me know what you have. I am not on this site to often but you can pm me or text me at 604 363 1430

I will be going to Portland in the next 2 weeks or something to off road on the sand dunes so that's the farthest Im willing to go.

Budget $3-400 but I am willing to spend more for a high quality rod that is a better deal.

There is a really big difference between a 2 and 4 weight rod, depending on what you want to do with it. A 6' 2 weight is a great small creek rod. A 9' 4 weight is a great small, open river dry fly rod. But they are words apart in function.

Or are you simply trying to match a rod up with the reel you have in mind?
