I have friends that live in Moses Lake, my family lives in Issaquah wa. We are looking to meet some where in between. I'm looking for non camp ground camping we have kids and dogs. Near water would be ideal. Any suggestions. Thanks Jason

The KOA in Ellensburg might be an option...though I'm sure what you mean by "non-campground" camping.

There is a public camp area run by a timber company on the Teanaway, right where the West Fork and Middle Fork roads diverge. Dogs are allowed, its on the river, very large, and free. Take the West Fork road and its on the Left about 1/4 mile from the West Fork North Fork road junction. about 20 minutes by car from Cle Elum
