Hi folks!

I was fishing the Cedar River near Landsburg on the evening of July 4th and left my reel somehow didn't make it back into my pack. A bone-headed thing to do, I know, but I was late for a party and needed to run. I returned to the location this morning (Wed), but no luck, it was gone.

I was fishing a popular pool (about a 25 minute walk downriver from the parking lot) and can describe this very distinctive reel to anybody that found it.

I'm hoping it was another fly fisherman and that they're willing to return it. A quick inquiry on the Forum couldn't hurt, right?

Thanks much!

Coach,

I haven't fished that far down from Landsburg yet but was on the river a couple of times recently - is that a 25 minute walk on the trail or 25 minutes wading? I plan on being down there this weekend again so will keep an eye out for your reel....don't know if a more detailed description is necessary as its probably the only Abel on the river....(?)! Good luck!
