My father lost his GoPro camera on the Deschutes river above Maupin.

He of course did not put his name on it. He set it on the ground when he went to take a pee. He was on the train tracks side of the river either slightly above or just below Long bend access point - says he was not paying that much attention. He said he went up on the bank on the downstream side of a large tree into some matted down brown grass where he set it down and forgot it. I know it is a long shot, but who knows.

I’ll give some friends a heads up on this maybe they can take a walk around there and see what they see. I won’t be on that stretch for a couple months I’d guess but I know a few guys who brave the rattlers on that side of the river as well
