I know Caddisflyshop.com carries some Marc Petitjean products. Check with them.

Also, I have purchased some Petitjean CDC from TCO fly shop. For CDC though, US dealers all seem to have a limited selection of colors (available through him directly).

I picked one up on ebay. Cost me a fortune by the time it was shipped to Canada. I heard from a dealer up here that Hareline used to bring them into North America but they no longer are. Ordering them direct or being lucky enough to find one somewhere in a shop may be the only options until a new wholesale distributor is found.

I tried to order one and received the following answer. A minimum purchase total of 50,00 € (tax excl.) is required to validate your order, current purchase total is 41,67 € (tax excl.).

Shipping would be 13€ so your total cost per stacker if three stackers are purchased would be 29.33 € or $36.15 US. So if two people want to order then with me I will place an order. You may need to pay local postage (if you don't live in Wenatchee).

Big Trout, that is the magic tool clip set and they are available at a number of sources. What we are looking for is the magic tool stacker as shown below. From what I can find there are none available for commercial sale in the US or Europe except at Marc Petitjean's web site.

Lue, interesting suggestion and the same one with the same source (Office Depot) that was on a comment to this device one Youtube. Unfortunately it doesn't carry any weight. It is an alternative to the large clamps but does not do the work of the "table clamps" that are the heart of the system. Even then, none of those parts hold a candle to the Petitjean stacker.

Really think the fish cares how pretty the flies look, I've had more fish take a beat up fly than when it fresh off the vise. Just the other day I was fishing with a mirco leech with material slid back to the bend fish was hammering it.Whenever I see new gadgets for tying flies I always think of Lee Wluff who tied flies creekside w/o a vise.

If anyone is even toying with the idea of getting one of these, don't hesitate. Hareline is no longer distributing these or the Magic Clip in North America. I have emailed Pettijean twice to ask who their North American distributor is and never got a reply.
