there are some polar bear fur granfathered in as the were imported in the 70's before the ban & there are domesticaly raised jungle cock. Never the least blue heron, JC & polar bear are all for sale in most Canadian fly shops & come across the boarder just like illegal immigrants daily.

Most bears sold in the states are bears that were shot many years ago and are being bought and cut up either from mounted bears or rugged bears. That is about the only Polar bear hair that is legal here in the states. Or hair that was cut up and in fly shops before the act.
