I am breaking into my top shelf rods to finalize my scaling back process. This is a very special and unique McFarland 6'6" 3wt. 3pc. spruce creek rod. Unlike any other spruce creek rod I have seen, this one features a rich dark green wraps with black tipping. The seat is nickel silver with a lightly colored wood insert that contrasts the darker wraps. This is one of my favorite looking fly rods.

The action is medium to medium fast with a progressive taper. It is a great dry fly rod. It will handle a 3wt. line or a 4wt. line in close.

I'm listing several rods and I am going to let the market dictate which rods I keep and which rods sell. I am asking $425 plus $15 shipping anywhere in the United States. Paypal preferred. Email me at [email protected] or PM with any questions.

It looks like this one is sold.

Kyle, I have some more McFarland rods amongst my favorites. Here is an 8'0" 5wt. 3pc. that I am keeping and a 7'0" 4wt. 4pc. that I am keeping:

I could do 95% of my fishing with these two rods.

Ya, I'm pretty sure Colt has a nice quiver still. He sold me his 7'9" 3/4wt 4pc Steffen a while back. He's built and/or sold more exceptional rods than I can imagine (and I can imagine quite a lot).

Can't believe I missed this ... ugh
I've pried a couple out of his hands too. He keeps wandering the desert, buying one here and there, making some, and then selling a couple, only to start the journey all over again. Poor guy has an affliction and needs intervention.
