I have a Meiser MKS 13'6 7/8 rod in good condition (see photos) for sale. few scratches from normal use. This is a great skagit rod, probably the best rod I ever cast (500-550 Skagit; 420 Scandi), I am selling it because I am moving away from the river fishing, and will embracing the saltwater fishing. If you have a good condition SAGE Xi3 7-8 weight. I will consider trade. Thanks!

Hey, take the rod with you to New England. There are rivers with stripers and it's a short drive up to the Canadian Maritimes for Atlantics. Don't waste it, sell it, you've gotta fish it. I used a 2hander for years in NewEngland. There is also the Salmon River in upstate New York! My largest steelie there was 18#. You can use this stick. They have HUGE browns too, chinook also. A wonderful time and quite cheap to stay and eat there. $40/night for 4 guys in room with 4 twin beds, right on the river. Double Eagle lodge. Wonderful. The owner used to make muffins in the morning, and soup at night as part of the room rent. You will get more fish on it there, than where you were in the PNW.

By the way, this is the rod I'm talking with Bob about making for me. It hurts a wee bit to see it here, but need Bob to tweek it for the reel I have to put on it. An heirloom. At this point, buying stuff that I would want to pass on to my children...

Think twice young man yuhina. There is a ton of fishing where you're going. I'll even put you in touch with some folk.
