I just bought mine online. After finishing the transaction, I realized it might not get here before I leave next saturday. Does anyone know whether or not the copy I printed is valid? If not, can I get a copy once I am in Montana? Thanks, in advance for any advise. Mark

From what I understand the printed copy should be valid. I did the same thing last week when I was in MT. I went to a fly shop in Hamilton and they said I would be fine with the printed copy on my person.

mine came in the mail really fast. Theee days or so after I bought it.

Canedawg, with the 4th holiday today, the turn around might be a bit tight but you may see your "official" license in the mail before you depart. Mine have always come about three days after ordering on-line. That said, your printed copy is just fine to use. Remember Fred Evens advice above, sign the thing before you fish. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses. I did sign it. Once my wife reminded me. I am leaving saturday, so it seems I may receive it before I leave.

The printed copy is good for 'x' number of days after it is issued (I think I remember 10, but not positive). I'll bet the original arrives before you depart Saturday.
