I fished it the other day. I did fairly well, casting to the bank/pads with a tan bugger, picking up a few trout with numerous crappie as a bonus.

As I was planning to leave, I noticed very infrequent, aggressive rises near the launch area. I opted to tie on big ugly attractor pattern and see what happens. Needless to say I picked up another 5-6 fish on top near the launch. All in a matter of 30 minutes.

Dang stocking report chasers!:p
I would recommend, without ever having fished this lake, a "Stocker Clocker" or maybe a "Cookie Girl"(slays the "cookie cutters"):Din size 8. Retrieve it slowly, just off the bottom. :cool:Of course, you cannot purchase either of these flies, so a box of wooly buggers should have ya covered.
