Anyone know what browns are like as table fare?? That is probably the only trout I have not eaten for no other reason than I usually do not target browns and the ones I have landed were so damned pretty they had to go back evasive species or not....Brown's... yes, definitely Browns.
I kept a big one out of the Columbia once. About a six pounder. I was surprised at how pink the meat was, and how delicious it was. That was from big, deep, cold water though.Anyone know what browns are like as table fare??
