Nautilus CCF-X2 reel with 10/12 spool and an extra 10/12 spool, the reel used once and the extra spool never. The reel and spool both have the red anodized caps. There are no marks, scratches, dings - no imperfections whatsoever, on either the reel or the spool. If it were in a display counter, it would look new. Boxes, including paperwork, allen wrench (to change retrieve - currently set for LH), factory neoprene cases for both reel and spool, AND warranty paperwork and instructions for the reel.

One of the very cool things about this model reel is that it has two different spools that fit it - an ultra large arbor 8/10 spool and a large arbor 10/12 spool . So, two differently sized spools that fit the same reel frame - allowing a fly fisher to use this reel from 8 weight and to 12 weight. Super smooth drag with tons of adjustment, great soft outgoing click.

Reel retail: $550
Spool retail: $255

That's a total retail of over $800. Buy this reel AND spool for $525. If it has to be shipped, we'll figure out how to handle the shipping costs and PayPal fees.

Fly Fisherman Magazine picked this reel as its best sealed drag reel in its Gear Guide.

From the web:,

"The newest addition to the Nautilus family is the CCF-X2. The multiple award winning dual action CCF-X2 drag system features twice the drag strength (20lbs+), twice the smoothness and half the startup inertia as the former CCF.

The CCF-X2 is featured in 4 sizes - the 6/8, 8/10, 10/12 and Silver King. All reels feature the made-for-fish fighting, big game handle and are fully sealed using our proprietary Activseal technology. Other components included in the CCF-X2 line are hybrid ceramic bearings, TPX bushings and an oversized drag knob to adjust the smoothest drag from zero to max in 6 full turns with our Infinajust system."

These pictures are stock; the reel and spool look just look these.

The 4.5-inch 8/10 and 10/12 reels share the same frame and the spools can be interchanged for a set up that covers 8 to 12 weight lines with just an extra spool.

In addition, this reel is fully sealed and loaded with hybrid ceramic bearings, TPX bushings and an oversized drag knob with Infinadjust range settings."
