I will be going over to Eastern Washington around Winthrop in mid July. Would like to know is there any good small streams around to fish in besides the Methow River? I know the area a little but never fished it.
Also would like to know what kind of flies to use. Thanks :dunno ;-)

Look at your map, almost any of those streams that you see feeding the methow and chewuch dranages have good small stream fishing, as far as patters it really does not seem to matter. Joes hopper, bucktail caddis, adams, coachman nymph or soft hackle. Just look at the regs' carefully some of those streams are closed for the bull trout and salmon thing. :thumb
