So I am headed to the Yak again after getting skunked two weeks ago. I did some reading on streamers..

grabed some off of hills (they gave me some advice on what to use)...

anyway, from what I read, you just cast it across, mend, drift, and then strip it back into you at a steady pace....

sound about rite??

Since the water is so cold the fish won't move much (chase) a streamer so as far as stripping, go really sloooow!

Good Luck!

You're probably right, though the calendar says it's still fall, the air and water temps say it's winter. I'd go with a slow strip!
