I actually enjoyed watching Cam Netwon get drilled this weekend.
Go full speed all the time and head on a swivel are some of the first things you learn in tackle football.
Guess Cam forgot....
I think all the one hand catch fame has gone to Beckham's head.

I actually went to youtube to see all the versions of Cam getting hit. Just can't get enough of it...

He asked for it getting rocked at the goal line with his cockiness, which like Stonefish, made my day. Doubt he'll learn from it. Beckham needs some mentors, hes already acting worse than dez bryant in his first 3 yrs in the league.

I honestly thought this was going to be about Beckham joining the Giants somehow.

I think Odell's head has gotten too big for his helmet. For all the talent that he has, he's more of a detriment to his team right now than anything. His head (heart) obviously isn't into it.

On another note, I enjoy seeing Cam Newton fall on his face as the next guy but he's taken than a couple hits this year that should have drawn flags. I don't mind seeing him get drilled by a guy that squares up and sticks a shoulder into his gut, and I can't stand all the defenseless player calls (they're all wearing helmets and pads and understand it's a violent game), but I don't like seeing the helmet to helmet hits. A lot of these guys won't be the same when they get older because of those hits. I like big hits but don't need to see guys going down because of it.

Beckham is a kid. He'll grow up. I can't imagine being in the paper every week when I was 22. 'll grow up. We all did.

IMO this is just another outfall of the "anything goes, all is acceptable" manner in which our society seems OK with. The companies we purchase goods and services from have policies on how employees must conduct themselves (at least most do that remain in business)... so should the NFL.
