I am gear shopping and want to replace 2 veteran pieces of gear this year-a 42 year old Coleman stove and a nearly as old Coleman oven. I hope to get a new 2 burner propane stove with an output of around 12,000 btu and am looking at the Fox Hill oven to use with it. I have read some positive reviews and am impressed with the oven's elegant simplicity. My Coleman oven in contrast is like an erector set to use-the term 'user friendly' wasn't in existence when this thing was designed.

The baking pan for the Fox Hill comes out of the oven by lifting the lid so you can just crack the top a bit to check on your baking progress. I think I would like that. At $50 it is certainly affordable so how does it cook? I am hoping someone has the answer to that.
