tired of Vista?? upgrade your Vista Professional to 7. details here-
http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-FQC..._1_1?ie=UTF8&s=software&qid=1276576926&sr=1-1
the version compatibility for in-place upgrade (the method used to preserve existing programs and files) of vista to win 7 goes like this:
1. you can upgrade Vista Home Premium to Win 7 Home Premium or Vista Professional to Vista Professional...basically the OS version of Vista has to match the Win 7 you are trying to install
2. since these 2 DVDs are Professional versions only Vista Professional can be upgraded keeping the existing programs and files. all other Vista versions will have to be erased first before installing Win 7 Professional. this is sometimes referred to as a "clean install".
XP to Win 7 is not supported for in-place upgrade regardless of versions. it will always have to be a clean install.
2 copies available- save even more dough and buy both for $300. these go for $250 each and are both legit brand new versions.
