·I know there's a lot of guys out there who make the logical move to upgrade the headlights and tail lights on their vehicles. After all, when you're traveling the back country, you want to have a good view of the roadway ahead and upgrading both your headlamps and tail lamps does make you more visible.
I want to warn you of a company called AUTOLUMINATION who sell LED auto replacement bulbs. I recently purchased two LED replacement tail light bulbs for my Honda. After receiving them, I plugged them in and neither worked. I then unplugged them, reversed the installation position (to reverse polarity) and still no light. I know there's power to the sockets; the OEM bulbs worked.
I e-mailed the company, explained the circumstances and requested a refund. Their response was "OK, you must have connected something wrong," then explain the return policy which consists of a 20% charge for "restocking and re-testing." They also do not pay for the return shipping which they also overcharged on.
This may sound somewhat trite to some but there's a reason why higher end vehicle makers employ HID and LED lighting. I love what my current upgrades do regarding improved visibility, especially when out in the middle of nowhere. If you choose to do so, avoid AUTOLUMINATION. They have "fraud" written all over...
