With Chopaka seeming iffy and the Okanagan and basin lakes already suffering, we're considering Oregon for our annual July 4 outing. Westfly.com has favorable reports for Hosmer and the Deschutes, etc.
I'm wondering about neighboring lakes (Elk, Sparks...) and the availbility of camping in the area. If anyone has experience down there, I'd appreciate any advice. I've already heard warnings about mosquitos!
And what's with Atlantic Salmon thing in Hosmer ?
