Why is it that folks nearly trip over themselves in attempt to be the first to post troubling news? Meanwhile, I patiently wait for the good news that @Swimmy and @OMJ finally completed that multi-day, camping trip down "River X"... complete with gobs of photos of big fish, middle finger salutes, and shit eating grins. Seriously, is this asking too much?

I'd guess that there will be alterations - there's a lot of water in Montana besides the 'Stone.

I couldn't care less about canceled vacation plans. This is a serious blow to one of my all time favorite trout rivers. Fuck me.

Or.... or....maybe someone just didnt see the other posts, because they were out of town when the news came out.

If you you look back at the dates, a couple days had passed before this thread was started.

Sometimes, people just make honest mistakes. But if it makes you feel better to rehash something that's already been covered, by all means, carry on.

Come to think if it, how's this for a reply -
