The disease is likely caused by a parasite, but it could be more common with warming water temperatures. Dahhhhhh

Yes, or it could be because they put a giant freaking hatchery on the river with rearing fish densities so high that every one of them gets infected with a parasite in the rearing facility that naturally produced fish at lower densities are rarely impacted by. Or, it could be climate change. Lets let the news people figure it out.

The production bottleneck is in the lake, the hatchery will make that problem worse not better.
These things come and go. It's a bummer for sure, but attaching it to anything without further research is just plain silly.

Dahhhh?
Oh Hell, Jeff... I thought you were talking about lawyers!

Three words stick out in the last paragraph, "could be" and "may".

Thought science does not rely on these kind of words.
Alex, if I were talking about lawyers, I would mention bloodsucking, worthless, unethical leeches! On the other hand, this particular issue I believe remains important for us to have oversight of and be aware of. Thank you for your time. You are truly a bunch of great guys. :)
