Park Lake is scheduled for treatment next Tuesday and Wednesday of next week (11/1 and 11/2). If things go smoothly, the treatment will probably be completed in one day.
They do it every time the browns get over thirty inches. WDFW can't stand a trophy fishery. What was the reason... bucket biologists?
Put and take! Sorry I missed the outing as I was looking forward to meeting some of you rascals! Got my buck the day before with my Tundra. It made it run a little too hot! It's fishing really good right now up against wind swept shores. The fish are just a little sluggish![]()
Thanks for answering my question; if indirectly. I recall a few of the basin lakes getting Spiny Ray infestations in years past and had not heard the reason for Blue and Park Lakes. Thousands of dead perch, some really big ones and a two pound smallies in the one spot we stopped at. Truly amazing amount of tiny two and three inch perch.
