While fishing Pass Lake on Friday, I noticed a sign that indicated only one fly with a single barbless hook can be used. I know that the regulations for "fly fishing only" waters changed in 2002 to allow 2 flies each with a single barbless hook to be used. Also, the specific rules section for Pass lake doesn't list a restriction of being limited to only 1 fly. I suspect the sign is a carry over from 2 years ago.

I emailed WDFW for a clarification and will post here when I receive a reply.
