Getting ready to order supplies to start knocking a bunch of these out. What are your favorite chenille rubber leg combos for the Yakima only? Brown chenille with what color legs? Olive chenille? Ect. Also, have any of you tied them on the Dai ricki 700b, any pictures? Thank you so much for the help.

DO - I tie my Pat's Stones using variegated chenille (olive/black or brown/black) with super floss Vs. rubber legs. .020 fuse wire for weight. My hook selection is TMC 3679 or similar. You might, just for giggles, buy some of the stuff from one of the E'burg fly shops and get their spin.......... good luck.

Hey thanks for the input. Went over to Avid during halftime of the Packers game (wise choice). Dave like always kindly assisted with burning a hole in my wallet. Will spend the evening sipping whiskey at my fly bench while my wife sews at her desk behind me.

You might want to watch the flyfishfood video on there pats. They tweak em a little and I really like the way they look when trimmed like he shows. Don't know if the fish care but it looks pretty tight to me.
