I've never fished the Pilchuck, but have always wanted to. Being a south-ender, it and its band of brothers up north only get a few visits/year (Seattle traffic is no fun). What is the access like and are there specific sections better suited for spey fishing, perhaps away from the more popular hardware fishing spots?
Thanks

You can access it at most bridges. I'd leave the spey rod at home. The river is only a little one. If it is twenty feet wide, I'd be lying.
Perfect, at my current spey proficiency level, I ought to be able to reach the other bank:D

I didn't know it was this small, thanks OM.

its small, super brushy, and there's enough no trespassing signs to be annoying. do some research and cover water. i hear this will be the last year shes open as no more hatchery plants are in the forecast.

I live close and you can find lots of access from Snohomish up it is a ditch not a river with limited swingin water. I have only found good reports from the bait slingers myself.
