I have yet to target Pink in the salt... not sure where to go, but I'm always open to suggestions.

Funny, I was just thinking about the 2015 bonus the other day whilst I was doing a little casting practice for SRC's. Browns Point, rock #7.

That bad huh? Sad to hear that! I was all excited to hit up some Pinks, but it sounds like a show on the Skok.

 

Oh man I am planning on taking two weeks of leave and heading home from NC. Already have my room reserved on my buddies couch and ordered about $150 worth of pink stuff to tie with. I have to have a rematch against my six year old since he kicked my ass last year and then mocked me in front of a crowd of women at Brown's point last year.

And ain't nothing as big of a shit show as the skok.

I prefer to do all of my pink fishing on the puyallup. It's nice to get away from the crowds and see some good ethics for once.

 

I forgot to add, one of the best parts of pink season are surprise coho.

 

So many fish that you can fish a beach that no one is at and still have a multi fish day. Or be at a super crowded beach and make some new BFF's. My highlight was chasing SRC with my 4 wt and getting into a half dozen humpies with my 4 year old. She loved it.

I will be enjoying the fact that lots of fishermen will be headed places other than Kitsap to get their beach fix. Im pretty glad we dont see huge numbers of them on our side.

I am certain to spend time out in the boat chasing pinks though. Hopefully my son will get his first fly caught salmon. Hard to beat pinks for taking kids fishing. I will smoke some up as well. I dont care what anyone says about em, I think they are tasty smoked.

I don't know about pinks bringing out the worst of people on the river, but it sure brings out the worst on this board!

I love pink years. I love pinks. Salmon that eat flies better than any other gear type, what's wrong with that!

 

I fish for humpies on top
Stimulators, moose turds, the lot
Employee furled leaders
Kick back all but the bleeders
From the salt, to the creeks, till they rot
