looking for a decent one to start out with never owned one before im a kid still 17 my budget is under 300 and i only float rivers not the op rivers but mostly the green and cedar and rivers like that any advice on which brands to look for on craigslist and such any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

I have had two outcast boats and both have served me very well. Their service department has taken care of me and even took care of the gent that bought my first boat when he needed service. There are a lot of options out there. Search the classifieds here too, great deals from many great members. Best of luck.
