Recently Chris made some changes to the WFF site. I found I could no longer insert pictures into my post like I previously could -- until Mumbles told me how to do it. (Thanks M!) I haven't seen a post on this subject so I give you this one.

To put pictures into your post, you need to host your picture on the web at a place like Photo Bucket. Then you can insert the link to your photo into the box that pops up when you click the "Insert Image" icon which is above the box into which you type your post.

Here is an example:

The alternative is to post a link to your photo using the "Manage Attachments" buttom which is below the box where you type your post.

Here is an example of a 211 kilabits attachment. Note it loads quickly and people who read your post will pause to see it.

Here is the same attachment but with 1.39 megabits. It loads slower and people may not be patient enough to wait for it to load.

And while we're on the subject of photos in the forums. I'd just like to make a friendly suggestion if I may. Can we please upload smaller pictures? These 3xxx x 2xxx resolution photos that come out of modern mega mega pixel cameras these days are way too big for "interweb" use. (And you guys know who you are! :) )There are lots of free photoshop substitutes out there that are simple to use. 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 like the previous ones in this thread are plenty big to show good detail. Thank you!

Cheers..................Todd
