I have the 13' 7/8, the 13' 8/9 and the 11'6" 9 weight switch. Of the three the 8/9 is one of the nicest rods I've ever cast, the 7/8 requires slightly better timing/form to shine, and the switch is one of the oddest rods I have ever cast.
(I run various versions of Nextcast SF45's and Zones on them.)

I test cast a trout spey / pink salmon G Loomis PRO 4X 1264-4 using an OPST head and loved it.

If I wanted to spend $500 on this 4wt spey rod, I would have for sure.

Loved the accurate casting, deep flexing rod. It would be my pink salmon and brown trout rod for sure.

But being cheap that day, I ended up instead with a Redington Hydrogen 4wt trout spey for $200 less and works just as well...
