I've been fishing several times a week around Bainbridge Island, Kinston and Hanesville. I've had good luck catching sea-runs, but no big fish yet. I'm hoping the salmon run will start soon, but haven't seen any fish. Has anyone had any luck???

its a king game right now it seems. Give it a couple weeks till silvers are in full swing.

Word has it that there is so much bait off shore that the fish are gorging themselves silly out there. When they do get here, they should come in good numberss. How's that for optimism?

I fished Weigh West in Tofino 8/5 and 8/6, looking for coho inshore.....nada....so it may be a little while before they get down here.
