For all those who don't have a boat or tube, the north end cove of Rattlesnake Lake is shallow enough to wade. There was a dusk hatch of mayflies around/after 6:00 pm, and the trout were open to taking PT emergers. This I found after a day of float tubing. I didn't stick around too long, as I was expected back home in Seattle soon enough.
