I bought this with the hope and expectation that I would learn to spey fish and head on up to the big waters of the Dean and Kispiox, et al, for big steelies and big salmonids. I went through a marital split up, and many plans changed, including this one...
So, I have a beautiful Redington RS3 14'9" nine weight spey rod, never had a reel mounted on it, with the cordura covered factory tube and sock. The blank is beautiful, and the cork is much higher quality than one would expect for a budget priced rod; it really is nice. Heck just the tube and sock would probably be $50 by themselves...
I prefer not to ship this; I will, but it won't be inexpensive, I'm guessing in the $20-25 range depending on location. However, even with shipping, at this price this is a bonafide deal.
