I had an 8wt redington that I built from a blank in 1996 (I date all my blanks upon completion) well as luck would have it, a broken rod just above the ferrule. Thinking that it's old and I did not remember if I ever sent in a warranty card or not, probably not I'm guessing, but what the heck, I really liked this rod for Yakima river smallies and thought maybe I could buy a tip (2 piece rod). The folks in bainbridge island said send it in and we will take a look at it. That was last Friday, July 30th. I sent it out the next day Saturday and the fed-ex dude just dropped of a new rod in the sock and tube this morning (august 7th), a redington cpx 9082. Wow I was only hope of a new tip and now have a new rod, no charge whatsoever. Total cost was 9.82 shipping ups. Very impressive.

Out of the 4 or 5 fishing companies that I have dealt with regarding warranties, I have always been very satisfied with quality of service that Redington has provided.
