Congratulations Roper! I retired just over a year ago and right away discovered two good things: 1. The hours just can't be beat; 2. The new boss ain't bad at all.
I put off retirement for over a year, concerned I might not adapt well. Turns out I'm more adaptable than I thought. Here's wishing you an easy transition as well.
