Thanks everyone, I've talked about doing this for a few years now. The freedom to do what you want when you want will be priceless. Glenda and I have worked hard to pay off all our debt so we're in great shape.

Fishing, hunting, woodworking, landscaping ( mowing), and learning to homebrew...plenty to do for sure.

Th Spring Fling is right around the corner...Pass Lake Saturday morning...
I actually might be able to make Pass on Saturday.

I surprised that they let you retire in the middle of the month. Boeing was always the first of the month so they wouldn't have to carry you on their insurance plans for another month. But salaried is different from hourly.

Congrats, that's wonderful news. I'm about 2 1/2 years out until I'm eligible to retire. I'll make the call when I get there if I'll tap out.

Good for you! Just remember....dryflylarry says....you're not officially retired until you forget what day of the week it is.....then it's official!
I do this now. But I've been retired for almost 18 years now. I'll start out to go someplace and never get there, and I don't remember what I was going for. But I can still find my way home.
