While I can't speak to the lines Spey capabilities (yet), I do like its single-hand performance.
I have it on an Echo Ion 10 ft 6 Wt. Found it very easy (for me) to consistently hit 70+ foot casts. This was with a bit of a crosswind. Turned over flies well, too.
I know there are lots of shooting head style lines out there that I could get this kind of performance out of. This is just my 2 cents on the line I have. Probably doesn't hurt that it's a heavy head (230 gr).
